Welcome to Lush Bar and Restaurant!

First lets clear it up we don’t sell bath bombs, we actually deliver amazing food and drink experiences to our lovely customers that visit us here in the South West.

Lush Bar & Restaurant has been developed and opened by Jason Clark the owner and driving force behind The Lush Food Company. With other strings to the companies bow such as its busy food outlet at The Jube Woolacombe, a very popular outside catering operation and even a successful consultancy service. The word LUSH is actually proving to be the most popular word used among its customers. Our newly refurbished bar and restaurant has been designed to offer a lovely homely warm welcoming and dare we say a trendy place to be. Whether it’s a family meal in the nicely lit restaurant, a lunch snack with a work colleague or a few cocktails on a night out, LUSH is definitely a place to be considered. We offer a menu for everyone from hearty pub style food to delicious great restaurant dishes, there is tapas to pick at and plenty for vegan, veggie and gluten-free diners (see the menu for details). You will find a warm welcome every day here at Lush.

We open our doors at 10 am Monday to Saturday. Often the real log fire is lit to give a warm welcome to our first coffee customers of the day. On Sunday’s we serve up a very tasty Sunday roast with a choice of meats and veggie option all accompanied with lots of delicious hot vegetables and the trimmings.

Lush is more than just a restaurant or a cosy coffee destination it is also a busy atmospheric bar with great music, cosy corners, Large tables and amazing cocktails and drinks. We often have live music and DJ’s playing. Situated on an up and coming street in Barnstaple right opposite the town’s cinema we are perfectly located for a visit.
